Projects and Publications
The tool «StromGT» was developed through a sequence of three projects:
| Project | Content | Publications |
|---|---|---|
| 1. «Eigenenergieverbrauch der Gebäudeautomation» (2013 – 2017) | •Building analysis •Methodology •Laboratory measurements | •Project Final Report •brenet Status-Seminar, 2016 (analysis and methodology) •Haustech, 5 2016 (Analysen) •TGA Fachplaner, 11 2016 (analysis and laboratory measurements) •en: Energy Procedia, 2017 (analysis and methodology) |
| 2. «Musterbeispiele von Gebäudeautomationssystemen mit geringem Stromverbrauch» (2017 – 2020) | •Building analysis •Identification of optimisation potential | •Project Final Report •brenet Status-Seminar, 2018 (methodology) •en: Journal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019 (methodology) •brenet Status-Seminar, S. 80-89, 2020 (analysis of Roche Building 1) |
| 3. «StromGT» (2020 – 2023) | •Tool development | •Tool-Download •Flyer (projects, case study, tool) •brenet Status-Seminar, S. 44-51, 2022 (tool) •CISBAT 2025: Poster StromGT (tool) •CISBAT 2025: Paper StromGT (will be published in the CISBAT 2025 special issue of Journal of Physics Conference Series) |
In the first two projects, specific buildings were analysed with regard to the electricity consumption of building automation systems. An analysis tool was developed for this purpose. The results of the analyses and the developed methodology are documented in several publications – see the “Publications” column in the table above. In the third project, the analysis tool was further developed for use by third parties, primarily for building automation planners.
